What does travel insurance cover?

You can choose between the Europe+ or World packages to insure yourself for the specific countries you are traveling to.

  • 24-hour assistance center
    Depending on the selected insurance coverage package, we provide assistance services and cover the costs of outpatient, hospital, or dental treatment, emergency and non-emergency transport to a medical facility, transport of the insured person to Slovenia after treatment, return of minor children, unexpected return to Slovenia, visits to the insured person in the event of hospitalization and transport of the insured person's remains to Slovenia, and reimbursement of necessary expenses in the event of flight delays and loss of luggage, as well as reimbursement of the costs of issuing new official personal documents in the event of loss or theft.
  • Insurance options
    You can take out individual, family, or group travel insurance.
  • Insurance for everyone
    Insurance can also be taken out by persons over the age of 75.
  • Special benefits for families
    Families with a single premium insure all members of the immediate family, regardless of the number of family members (a family consists of at least two persons).
  • Uniform surcharge for different sports
    With a single additional payment, the insurance covers competitions in various sports abroad, excluding extreme sports.

WHAT DOES EACH PACKAGE INCLUDE?

It is important that you always call the emergency center when an insured event occurs.

In the event of illness, accident, etc. (in short, an assistance case), it is essential that the insured person calls and reports the insurance case as soon as possible to the 24-hour on-call assistance center TBS Team 24 d.o.o., from where the assistance company organizes assistance abroad (in accordance with the selected insurance package and insurance terms and conditions):

  • telephone number for calls from Slovenia: 080 19 21

The assistance center will refer the insured person to the appropriate medical facility or arrange for a doctor to visit them in their hotel room, apartment, etc. When reporting an insurance claim, the caller must provide the operator with the following information:

  • Name and surname and address of the insured person or policyholder, tourist insurance policy number, start date and duration of insurance;
  • the location of the injured or ill person, telephone number, and any address where the insured person can be reached;
  • a brief description of the problem and what kind of help is needed;
  • proof that the trip abroad does not exceed 92 consecutive days and other additional documentation at the request of the insurance company.

The assistant physician will contact the attending physician if necessary, and the insured person must sign an ROI form (medical confidentiality agreement) when required.
