European insurance

The comprehensive travel insurance package includes travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance.

Travel cancellation and interruption insurance

• The insurance covers trip cancellation or interruption.
  The insured causes are:
• unexpected serious illness
• serious bodily injury due to an accident
• death
• pregnancy complications
• significant material damage to the residence due to
• natural disasters or criminal acts
• In case of absence, we will refund the contractually agreed costs.
cancellation up to the insured travel price.
• If your trip is interrupted, we will reimburse you for the unused travel services up to the insured trip price and additional return costs.

Luggage insurance

• Damage, destruction, or theft of personal luggage is covered.
• We will reimburse up to €2,000 per individual and up to €4,000 per family.
• In the event of delayed arrival of luggage at the destination, we will reimburse the costs of necessary replacement purchases up to EUR 200 per person and EUR 400 per family.

Search and rescue

• In the event of accidents, life-threatening situations in the mountains or at sea, we will reimburse rescue costs up to EUR 10,000.

Travel health insurance

• The insurance covers acute illnesses or accidents during travel abroad.
• We reimburse the costs of outpatient treatment and hospitalization abroad up to EUR 200,000.
• If necessary for medical reasons, we will arrange transportation home and cover the costs incurred.

Personal liability insurance while traveling

• Coverage is provided for the fulfillment of justified or rejection of unjustified claims for compensation for material damage and bodily injury caused as a private individual, up to a value of EUR 100,000.

General

• intentional acts of the insured person or acts due to gross negligence on the part of the insured person
• official orders
• significant influence due to alcohol, drugs, or medication

Travel cancellation and interruption insurance

• if the cancellation or interruption of the trip already existed or was foreseeable certain illnesses are not insured or are not
• insured if they were treated in hospital in the last 12 months prior to taking out the insurance (in the case of trip cancellation) or prior to the start of the trip (in the case of trip interruption)

• items necessary for performing the profession
• items in or on unattended vehicles
• items in tents or motorhomes

Travel health insurance

• chronic diseases and known diseases that are being treated, which are
• exclusively or partially for the purpose of travel
• performing occupation-related manual activities
• expeditions, extreme sports, motorsports, and national and international sports competitions
