PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Avioborza d.o.o. protects all personal data obtained about passengers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/2007-UPB-1, hereinafter: ZVOP-1).

By signing the agreement – confirming the order in accordance with Article 10(2) of ZVOP-1 – the passenger is deemed to have given their consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of concluding and performing the contract.

By accepting and confirming these general terms and conditions, the passenger also gives Avioborza d.o.o. consent to disclose personal data to authorized third parties and agrees that the passenger's personal data may be used for the following purposes: direct marketing, market research, business analysis, customer segmentation, statistical processing, and notification of offers from Avioborza d.o.o. and its business partners.

If the passenger does not wish to give their consent, they may express this when registering for the trip.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Avioborza collects the following personal data: first and last name, gender, date of birth, address (street and house number, postal code, city), travel document number (ID card or passport), mobile phone number, e-mail address. This information is required for all participants in the trip.

Avioborza also requires the following information (service payer): credit card number, email address, signature, and newsletter subscription date.

Avioborza is not responsible for the accuracy of the data provided or entered by the user.

We collect personal data in the following ways:

  • via the non-binding inquiry form or binding reservation form,
  • in direct communication with the customer,
  • during telephone communication with the customer (calls to the support service may be recorded),

As a personal data controller, Avioborza will use the data exclusively for the purposes specified below.

RESERVATION

We use your personal data primarily for the purpose of booking (managing and completing) airline tickets and tourist packages. The transfer of personal data to third parties is limited exclusively to the needs of making reservations (airlines, tour operators, hotel accommodations, car rentals, etc.). This includes the following data: first and last name, gender, date of birth, telephone numbers, e-mail, data on other passengers traveling with you, and your wishes as communicated to us.

USER SUPPORT

We use your data when you send us your requests for suitable airline tickets, accommodation, tourist packages, etc., and to respond to questions regarding your reservation.

OTHER TYPES OF COMMUNICATION

Occasionally/on special occasions, we may contact you via email, post, telephone, or text message (depending on the contact details you share with us). The purpose is to provide you with information (travel information, interesting offers, etc.).

MARKETING

By subscribing to our e-newsletter, we will send it to you. You can cancel your subscription to the e-newsletter at any time.

We may use your information (which you share with us) for marketing purposes, to the extent permitted and allowed by law.

We undertake not to disclose your data to unauthorized third parties.

Analytical Support

Users can subscribe to our newsletter, through which Avioborza (until canceled) informs them about new offers, promotions, marketing activities, etc. Users can subscribe to the e-newsletter by filling out the form on the website www.avioborza.si and thus joining the list of recipients of Avioborza news.

By filling in the required information: name and surname, address, place of residence, e-mail address, and by signing and entering the date of accession, the user gives their consent for us to send them Avioborza news.

USER RIGHTS

In accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • access to your personal data and copying it,
  • supplementing or correcting your personal data (incompleteness, inaccuracy, change),
  • restriction of the processing of your personal data if you contest its accuracy (for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of your personal data), if the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data, if the data retention period has expired and you need it to assert legal claims,
  • erasure of personal data, in particular if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, if they have been processed unlawfully or if they have been processed with your consent and you have withdrawn it and there is no other legal basis for their processing,
  • on grounds relating to your (specific) situation, you may object at any time to the processing of your personal data, if this is necessary for the performance of tasks in the public interest or the legitimate interests of the company – in this case, we will stop processing your personal data unless our compelling legitimate interests for processing override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims,

ENSURING DATA SECURITY

The data obtained by Avioborza is confidential and is treated in accordance with applicable Slovenian legislation. Avioborza undertakes to protect the data and prevent its misuse. Personal data will only be used for the purposes for which the user has given their consent. Access to this data is restricted to persons authorized by Avioborza (employees, business/contractual partners) with whom it has concluded appropriate data protection agreements.

The user is also responsible for protecting their data (adequate protection of security passwords, protection of electronic devices, etc.).

BASIS FOR PROCESSING AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
